Kate works part-time as yoga coordinator for the Prison Phoenix Trust, a UK charity that supports prisoners through yoga and meditation. She has practised yoga and meditation for over thirty years, and is a student of Hogen Daido Yamahata. She has an MA in mindfulness training, and has been teaching mindfulness for seven years.

Brigid Avison has recently retired from helping university students who have dyslexia, and has been meditating in the vipassana tradition for 17 years. She helps to organise Gaia House Oxford retreat days, and has recently completed a one-month period of intensive meditation. She has been teaching mindfulness since 2008.

Teresa Kay has trained as a social worker and a yoga teacher. In her 20s, she was diagnosed with terminal cancer, which she overcame through diet and practice. She has been practising yoga and meditation for several years, and has just completed a one-year intensive retreat on Holy Island, Scotland.
